Happy Retro Birthday to MEEEEEE !!!!
These images would be from the summer of 1979 I believe. These scans of prints that I made that summer, in the basement of my parents home, and may be all I have left from my “first roll ever“. No idea what the film was but the camera was a Ricoh KR-5 my dad had bought for me while in Florida. Upper image is me and my best friend Dan, hanging out on the front steps of my elementary school in Sault Ste Marie, Cody School. The bottom pic is Dan and Ennio and I (we hung out all the time), and a guy we occasionally hung out with, Peter. Ahhhh, memories. Hard to believe this was almost 35 years ago.

Another night at the Palace
’cause there is nothing else to do.
The same people, the same drinks and the same music,
the same quicksand
I think this harbour town is waist deep and sinking fast.
Second night at the Warehouse,
and my mock turtleneck just reeks.
From the liquor room to the changeroom,
to the doom and gloom
of the hotel room,
I wish this seaside beerhall would
sink into the bay.
