With lots of places to run to
paraphrase of Tom Petty: American Girl i think i need a new subject. perhaps a single person rather than an endless stream of lunchtime characters from ottawa's downtown core. any volunteers? anyone out there that views this blog that really likes to get their picture taken that would perhaps like to work with me on portraiture? did i spell that correctly? there must be someone, i'm not picky, anyone? i'll keep posting this till it seems like i'm being needy, then i'll post a bit more, then stop. email me. m. My own personal BOO (Best Of Ottawa). I like the symetry, i like the colours, i would have processed it more vividly, more contrast, but i love the early 70's feel to it. it reminds me of road tripping with my parents when i was a kid and all the dive hotels and motels we stayed in as we criss crossed america. Turnpikes and Motel 6's, that was some summers when i grew up. the rest were spent on the shore's of lake superior, but they looked nothing like this. if anyone knows of more ottawa photoblog sites that i am missing, please post a link in the comments.
